About AYUSH
AYUSH KERALAM (AYUSH KERALA HOMOEO MEDICAL OFFICERS ASSOCIATION) is the unique organization of AYUSH HOMOEO MEDICAL OFFICERS in Kerala.
AYUSH HISTORY:-
In 1995, Govt. of India formed department of Indian system of medicine and Homoeopathy (ISM & H) and it was renamed later as Dept of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy) in november 2003. )

In Kerala, one of the main objectives of NRHM (Arogyakeralam) is the main streaming of AYUSH and revitalization of these harmless systems of medicine. In Kerala, at first 41 AYUSH Homoeo dispensaries got sanction on 10th november 2008. Now there are about 299 AYUSH homoeo dispensaries in Kerala, under NRHM.
MAIN OBJECTIVES
- Promotion and Advancement of Homoeopathy in Kerala through AYUSH.
- The improvement of public Health and Medical Education in Kerala.
- The maintenance of honor and dignity of medical profession.
- Works as a helping hand to enrich the academic levels of doctors.
- Protecting the rights and needs of Doctors
- Helping the doctors in submitting the daily patient report to the Authorities.
